Boss Hogg Outlawz
Boss Hogg Outlawz is Slim Thug's own record label. Since 2001, major record label have been looking at Houston rapper Slim Thug. Slim Thug's own Boss Hogg Outlawz label was so lucrative that he felt he had no use for a major record deal.
The money Slim Thug made solo did not compare to the offers the record labels where giving him. Slim Thug has sold more than 300,000 albums from three album releases and numerous mixtapes at about $8 per album sold.
Slim Thug had a knack for rapping since he was 10 when his brother, Raymond "Ray-Face" Thomas, used to write small "toy and bicycle" raps for him.
Slim got his professional start by rapping on Swishahouse Records mixtapes, but outgrew the label after a couple of years and decided to start his own company.
He called his label Boss Hogg Outlawz after a second nickname he picked up when he drove a convertible Cadillac similar to that of Boss Hogg on the old "Dukes of Hazzard" television show.
When he realized that many top producers wouldn't work with him because he wasn't with a major label, he signed with Geffen Records last year. Pharrell Williams, half of hip hop's super-producer duo The Neptunes, chose to work with Slim through Geffen's Star Trak label.

Rayface is the behind the scenes boss man you always hear about but never see. He is a key part of the Boss Hogg Outlaw organization. If he's not out recruiting free agents and scouting for Boss Hogg Outlaw 'walk on players', then he is in the lab creating plays and making money to feed the franchise. You can actually picture the big business man sittin' in an office somewhere with his feet up on the table, but there's no time to relax for him......it's all work and no play. - Slim Thug
